I'm shocked to see Knight Rider on the schedule. Did Knight Rider 2000, Knight Rider 2010 and Team Knight Rider (not to mention the dreadful TV movie from earlier this year... seriously, please don't mention it) teach NBC nothing?
I'm curious to see Merlin; the take sounds a little like Jack Whyte's Dream of Eagles series, which I've enjoyed. Anthony Stewart Head isn't my natural first choice for Uther, but I can see him in the role. My main worry is that it's going to be a "magic show", which looks more likely when I see that they've cast twins as Merlin; Whyte's series is grounded in reality.
The phrase "part of a marketing deal with an insurance company" (Kings) sends shivers down my spine... and not the good kind.
Rumour has the spinoff of The Office featuring Ryan and Kelly. On the upside, they're both writers and producers on the show. On the downside, it would be a show featuring Ryan and Kelly.
Crusoe is apparently "action-packed" and sounds like MacGyver for the 17th century... pass.
The rest... meh. I hope ABC can work out the deal for Scrubs.
The purpose of this blog is to provide perspectives on movies, television shows, and other pop culture occurrences. The contributors have a wide variety of preferences and opinions, and these will not be censored or adjusted to fit a certain mold. You may not agree with what we have to say (we certainly don't agree with each other most of the time), but hopefully you will find it interesting, enlightening, or helpful in some way.

In case anyone's wondering, the Canadian series the article mentions is The Listener, about a paramedic who can read people’s thoughts.
Pretty weak, eh
