Nice job, everyone, getting this new and exciting blog up and running! Special thanks to Tammy for all the groundbreaking she did, when she wasn't chasing cats around the house (I can just imagine the damage Vicki and I will be undoing in those poor creatures' psyches when we get home!)
I don't have time right now to put my first real post out here, but the following are some of the topics that have potential for showing up in these parts soon:
- reminisces on the various Bob Newhart TV shows, after we watched an exceptional biography on him in Chicago this past weekend (he hails from Chi-Town)
- a review of John Sayles' amazing film, Lone Star, which, the more times I see it, the more inclined I am to think it may just be a perfect movie
- possibly something on John Carpenter's The Thing, which has stuck with me ever since I first saw it in the early 90s and has only gotten more deeply under my skin with each successive viewing
Anyway, those are for another day. Nice to see this new site shaping up so quickly, and so nicely!
